What is the 14-day free trial?+
When you sign up, the paid tools are unlocked for 14 days — no credit card. After that your account returns to Free: nothing is deleted, and the diagnosis stays complete. Scenarios you saved above the free allowance stay on your plan; Free simply stops adding new ones.
What is "Plan as a Family"?+
Plan as a Family is the paid planning depth for each person on your plan — claim ages, Roth conversions, the Healthcare Bridge, 401(k) tracking, 529 and estate, computed for your household with them in it. Your spouse and kids are on your plan for free, with the household facts a correct diagnosis needs (spouse income, dependents, filing status): a free plan still has to be right.
What is the Family Bundle?+
The Family Bundle is 3 separate RunwayFI accounts on one subscription, $149 a year. Each account has its own login, its own plan, and everything Pro includes. Whoever buys it adds and removes the other two in Settings. It is not a shared plan: nobody on the bundle can see anyone else's numbers. Removing someone ends their seat and returns that account to Free — nothing they entered is deleted.
How does billing work?+
Subscriptions are billed annually through Stripe — charged once per year. There is no monthly plan. You can switch plans or cancel at any time from Settings > Billing.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees.
What is PlanPulse?+
PlanPulse is your AI planning companion. It reads your live financial data and answers questions in plain English — it never invents numbers. Free includes 5 real answers a day. Paid adds a larger daily allowance and Deep Scan analysis.
Is my financial data safe?+
Yes. Your data is stored locally first (IndexedDB) and encrypted in transit. We use Supabase with row-level security. We never connect to bank accounts, never sell data, and never show ads.
Can I try the engine without an account?+
Yes. The live demo at runwayfi.app/demo/live runs the real projection engine on a fictional profile — no account, no email, nothing saved. When you sign up, you start from your own numbers on the Free tier.
What happens if I never pay?+
You keep a working planner, forever. Free is the whole diagnosis — your plan, your projection, real tax math, Resilience, and the life-event catalog — not a trial. What pauses is the planning depth: Plan as a Family, extra scenarios and Compare, PlanPulse depth, reminders, and the optimizers. The comparison table above shows exactly where the line is.
